• Gst Refund matter

Hi,
I do export/Import of software service. I have accumulated ITC in my GST account.
I am planning to apply for refund from July-2017 to March 2018 for getting accumulated ITC .
Do I need to file 9 applications separately for 9 months via online ?
Also do I need to submit 9 applications and required documents separately at GST office offline.

Can you please tell me what are the documents I need to submit offline to GST office ,
Apart from Invoice and FIRC.

Thank you

Hi,

Hope you are doing well !

Yes, you need to file 9 applications separately for 9 months via online.

Please carry invoice copies of ITC claims and GSTR copies to justify ITC.

Thanks & Regards,

Dear Sir,

1) Yes online it needs to be submitted for each month individually.

2) Take the printout of online submitted applications and submit manually to the jurisdictional AO along with export invoices ,FIRC copies and covering letter.

3) Also if the refund amount is more than Rs. 2 lacs, you need a certificate from CA that the credit has not been passed.

4) Copy of cancelled cheque.

5) Copies of GSTR 3B and GSTR 1

Thanks

Hi

Yes, the refund form needs to be filed monthly.

For claiming refund of accumulated ITC, also attach invoice copies of ITC claims and GSTR copies to prove non- utilization of ITC.

A CA certificate is required only when amount of refund claim exceeds Rs. 2 lacs. If it is less than Rs. 2 lacs, your self declaration shall suffice the requirement.
