Hii Sir, I am kshirod I have a doubt on gst no I am a student and I want to do online business like e-commerce and shopify dropshiping business and other e-commerce like sell on amazon ,flipkart, eBay and I need a gst no and I don't have any separate room or rented room for this business I want a gst no form my home address but the problem is here my home address is being ownership of my grandfather name but my grandfather was dead and also electricity bill also my grandfather's name how i get gst a gst no in this case or what is the format of noc in this case and what's the documents required to get gst no on my home address please help me

1) Get NOC from your father as after the death of your grandfather he is owner of property by inheritance. Attach electricity bill alongwith NOC.

On death of your grandfather, the property shall be transferred to the legal heirs; same has to be updated with the electricity department.
NOC is to be given by the now owner of the property.

Simply you just get NOC from the new owner of the property.
On death of your grandfather , the property shall be automatically transferred to legal heir's. It has to be updated with respective departments.

After the death of the grandfather, any legal owner can sign a NOC for you and you can use the same to get the GST number.

Post demise of your grandfather, there may be something which proves that house is transferred in your father's name.
You can take noc from your father and attach any documentary proof mentioning your father as a owner.
There is no specified format for Noc. You can take any format from Google. It should mention that your father has no objection in you using that place for your business
