• Tax collector or tax payer?

Hello,
I have an E commerce comapny Naturebandhu where we deal with natural products online as well as offline. How will we fit in GST norms As a tax collector to collect tax at source from supplier who used to sell their products online(just like amazon) or as a tax payer since we deal with some high demanding inventories ourselves as a retailer. Can we apply for both in GST Portal?

You must apply for both as per my knowledge because you are working in both capacity as an agreegator i.e. like Amazon as well as in your individual capacity by handling huge stock and selling it in your name.

So it's safe to register in both capacity and to deduct TDS of the person to whom you provide service as aggregator and rest in your individual capacity.

Also from my research you don't have to deduct TDS but it's TCS and same has been postponed till October 2018 by government in their latest meeting

Hope you find the information helpful if you do please rate it 5 and provide your valuable feedback for my improvement.

Thank you
