Use challan 281 and then select relevant year enter your TAN and enter the amount in interest column and pay challan online and then update your return for relevant year by entering that challan.

Hope you find the information helpful if you do please rate it 5 and provide your valuable feedback for my improvement.

Good Afternoon Suneel Ji

You have to pay interest using challan no 281 same which you are using for TDS payment. after 2-3 working days of payment your challan will shown in oltas tds status , after that you have to login on tdscpc.gov.in and using revise return you can pay demand amount by adding challan to statement.

Hi Suneel

It would be the same challan that you use for deposit of TDS I.E. Challan 281 through tin-nsdl website.

Post payment, revise your respective TDS return.

Hi Sunnel,

Section 194-IA of the IT Act relates to TDS on Sale of property.

Form 26QB is an online statement-cum-challan to be filled and submitted by the buyer of the property for making TDS payment on sale of property. It contains details of buyer, seller, property being sold, sale consideration, tax deposit details etc.

If it was a default in TDS on sale of property then you need to pay interest using challan cum return form 26QB as you might have deducted TDS using PAN.

In that case, there's a separate link.

Go to tin-nsdl website > pay taxes online > Demand Payment for TDS on Property (Form 26QB)
