Dear Sir / Ma'am, 1. Can a tailoring unit registered under GST paying 5% tax avail Input Tax Credit? (GST rate was reduced from 18% to 5% for tailoring services in Feb '18 - please confirm) 2. Tailoring unit is also selling dress materials purchasing from unregistered dealers but main business is tailoring only. 3. Which is the last month to avail Input Tax Credit pertaining to FY 2017-18? 4. SAC code for tailoring services (998822) - is it correct? This tailoring unit is just a shop with about 5-6 workers. Sometimes they also sell dress materials purchased from REGISTERED dealers. I prefer email than phone. Kindly reply at the earliest.
