• Credit card payment

I have made some travel booking for my friend on my Credit Card. Should I ask them to directly pay my credit car bill or first ask them to transfer it to my account and then i pay the credit card bill.

What is the amount?

Amount has a very crucial role. After a specified threshold the amount will be reported by bank to ITD which will be verified from your ITR. In such scenario you need to take payment directly in your account.

I dont think this will create an issue it was just a loan which you received back.

Hope you find the information helpful if you do please rate it 5 and provide your valuable feedback for my improvement.

Thank you.

Hi

Yes, direct payment of credit card will be more advisable.

Hello,

It won't create much of a problem but it would be better if they directly pay the credit card bill.

I hope this answer satisfies your requirement.

Hi,

Both the ways are fine. Only thing, you should have the proof that it was done for your friend. No matter how the payment was done at the end.

Thanks

Hi,

Ideal way is to ask your friend to pay directly to credit card company.

However, if the amount is not material it hardly matters.

In any case you will have proof of such payment. So it wont be an issue.

better go for taking payment in your account and than repayment.
