• DIR-3 KYC

Hi- 14 th October was the last date for Dir-3 kyc submission. I forgot. Now I want to submit.

Can you please tell me the procedure. Is there any Late fine ?

Hi,

You can do so after paying penalty of 5000. As the site is getting updated, that can be done after 3-4 days. 

Process is same as what it was.

Dear Sir,

 

Here is the process for filing the DIR-3 (Director's KYC)

 

Step-1: Following Information is required

 

  • DIN (Director’s Identification Number) of Director
  • Director’s Full Name as per PAN
  • Father’s Name as per PAN
  • Whether Indian Citizen or Not
  • Nationality of Director
  • Date of Birth as per PAN
  • Gender
  • Income Tax PAN (Mandatory for Indian Citizens)
  • Valid Passport (If having), Passport Number needs to be entered
  • Aadhaar Number (Mandatory in case of Indian Citizen)
  • Personal Mobile Number and E-Mail Id for the Verification of OTP
  • Permanent Residential Address
  • Present Residential Address

Step-2: Mandatory Attachments 

  • Self Attested Copy of PAN Card
  • Self Attested Copy of Aadhaar Card
  • Self Attested Copy of Passport, if having Valid Passport
  • Self Attested Copy of Present Address required i.e. Electricity Bill or Mobile Bill or Bank statement of Director (Not Older than 2 Months) 

The Mandatory attachments needs to be attested by the Practicing Professional also.

 

Step 3: Certification of Form

  • Affixation of Digital Signature of the applicant i.e. Director
  • Affixation of DSC of Practicing Professional i.e. CA, CS or CMA

 Step 4:  Pre- scrutiny of Form and generation of OTP

After successful Pre-scrutiny of Form, the OTP (One-time Password) Button will be enabled & generated on the Personal Mobile No. and E-mail Id Provided and needs to be enter & verify in the Form

 

Penalty for Non-Filing of DIR-3 - Rs. 5000 after 14th October 2019.

The procedure for filing the form is same you just need to pay Rs. 5000 late fee.

  • Yes late fees is Rs.5000 per DIN. 
  • Click on DIR-3KYC WEB on MCA.GOV.IN.
  • It needs to be certified by the whole time practicing CA.

You have to verify DIR3 KYC through online MCA portal from DIR3 KYC WEB section.

And late fine of Rs.5000 is prescribed for the same.
