• Eway bill

Iam having sweetshop and my godown (where manufacturing takes place) is 500 meter away from my sweetshop... i have gst registration and i have shown my godwn as additional place of business in gst..
Now do i have to issue delivery challan for transfer of goods and raw material bw shop and godown ..and also if delivery challan value is more than 50000 than do i have to issue eway bill.?
What the minimum distance for generating the eway bill? And part A in eway bill is mandatory for distance bw consigner and consignee is less than 10 km?

- There is no minimum distance. If the value is less than Rs.50,000, you are not required to generate an e-way bill. On a safer side, for value more than 50k, you can generate delivery challan. Part A is mandatory in all cases because it captures the basic details. What is the mode of conveyance used by you?

- There was a notification of 10 km, presently I am not able to find it. Delivery challan is also treated as an e-way bill and generated from the e-way bill portal. If you transport goods in a non-motorized vehicle then you will be exempt from e-way bill.

Hi,

- As of now, there is no minimum distance for generating the Eway bill. It is based on value.

-Yes, part A is mandatory in all cases.

Hello,

For goods valuing below Rs. 50,000, E-way bill is not required.

No minimum distance is prescribed. Part-A is mandatory.

If the transfer is by a non- motorised conveyance, E-way bill is not required.

I hope that this answer satisfies your requirements.

Dear Sir,

Here are my replies to your queries:

1.) Registered Person – Eway bill must be generated when there is a movement of goods of more than Rs 50,000 in value to or from a Registered Person. A Registered person or the transporter may choose to generate and carry eway bill even if the value of goods is less than Rs 50,000.

2.) Goods moved within a state did not need e-way bill for distances of up to 10 km. This has now been increased to 50 km.

Thanks and Regards

Technically you should issue delivery challan for such movement but no one really make it practically for such distance and it is also not technically supply so.

Yes if you are making delivery challan and if amount is above 50k then you need to make e way bill.

There is no minimum distance for e way bill.

There is a limit of 50 km for generating Part B and that too when you take goods from own place to transporter.

Hope you find the information helpful if you do please rate it 5 and provide your valuable feedback for my improvement.

Thank you.
