So what should i charge cgst sgst from customer or igst..? As my sale is over the counter so should i ask every customer his state.. or after 50 thousand value invoice i have to write name and adress and state of customers and charge cgst if he is in same state and igst is he is otherstate
But I don’t deliver i have only counter sale so how is it feasible to ask very customer his adress and state and then charge tax accordingly.. whats the correct rule?

Hi

It would be CGST and SGST only as per section 10(c) of the IGST act.

Hello,

As per section 5 of the IGST Act and Place of Supply Rules stated, you would be required to charge CGST and SGST for sales over the counter.

I hope that this answer satisfies your requirements.

As in your case you are making supply over the counter only the place of supply is your shop only. Hence you need to pay  CGST and IGST.

As per the place of supply rules, Where there is no movement of goods either by supplier or recipient, The place of supply in such case would be the location of such goods at the time of delivery to the recipient.

It depends on the kind of goods you're selling. Decide whether to falls under section 10(a) or 10(c).

The point of sales depend upon the movement of goods.

Being a sweetshop owner, practically you're not going to ask the customer where the goods shall be taken to. Hence, it's advisable to charge CGST and SGST.

yes, in that case in the row "place of supply" you need to mention your state, as you have sold it over the counter.

Cgst as it's over the counter sale and supply end when you transfer goods on counter.

After 50000 you need to write name address of customer as well as address of delivery and it will decide taxability.

Hope you find the information helpful if you do please rate it 5 and provide your valuable feedback for my improvement.

Thank you

Your supply is over in your shop.

GST is consumption based tax.

So you have supplied goods in your shop.
