• GST registration question for online coaching providing coaching classes in India

We are having an online coaching business registred in Uttarakhand. We are selling our courses on our platform online. Many students from various states registered on our platform and purchase video course and test series. All the students are on our platform from India only. Our annual turnover is less than 20 lacks.
Please answer the following questions for registration under the GST act
1. As per my understanding, we are providing interstate online services. However, the service providers are exempted from compulsory GST requirement. So we will have to take the registration only if we exceed the threshold limit? right?
2. Do we fall in e-commerce operator? ( As per my understanding we are providing college classes from our own platform on our name, so we don't fall in this category of e-commerce operator). Please answer this.
3. Whether we fall in this online information and database access or retrieval services under service tax category?
4. Do we have to take compulsory registration irrespective of turnover or should wait for 20 lakh threshold ?
