Relief under Sec 89 is relief for arrears received as salary. Foreign Tax Credit is any taxes deducted in foreign country. You need to share more details to help you file the return.

Hi Raviish,

For filing foreign tax credit, you should file Form 67.  For filing Table A, can you share the headings and other details so that we can guide you on filing.

It is mandatory to file Form 10E if you want to claim relief under Sec. 89(1). Sec. 89(1) provides relief by reducing the additional tax to the taxpayer receiving arrears of salary/pension.

To help you fill the details in ITR, we would need more details.

I hope this answer satisfies your requirements.
