Hi I've filled my ITR for AY2020-21.In my Form 16, there is "Less: Relief under section 89 (attach details)" of amount 4899 for which form 10E is to filled online.As per 26AS, it is "Foreign Tax credit". I am bit confused what should be values to be filled. Need help in filling values for TABLE 'A" and other values Reagrds Raviish

It is mandatory to file Form 10E if you want to claim relief under Sec. 89(1). Sec. 89(1) provides relief by reducing the additional tax to the taxpayer receiving arrears of salary/pension.

Form 10E is filled for Arrear of Salary.
In accordance with Rule 128, in order to claim Foreign tax credit, the taxpayer is required to file following documents on or before due date of filing of return:
foreign income offered to tax
foreign tax deducted or paid on such income in Form No. 67
From the tax authority of the foreign country
from the person responsible for the deduction of such tax
signed by the taxpayer
