Hello, the scenario is as follows:- a. Mr.X (Contractor) enters into agreement with Mr. Y(final consumer) for construction of a house in a land owned by Mr. Y. b. Contract price is fixed at square feet basis. c. This is not a labour contract as materials will also be purchased by the Mr.X (Contractor himself). In this case, i need clarification on i. what will be the percentage of GST to be charged in the invoice raised by Mr.X. ii. whether input tax can be claimed by Mr.X for GST paid by him on registered input supplies and services iii. Whether Mr.X can be treat himself as a Pure agent and there by apply the GST only on his margin.
