Enrol of proprietor name and Trade name for Professional tax
I got my GST registered in West Bengal for E commerce business in Amazon.Basically, i am not from West Bengal. I was informed from the agency that registered my GST,according to West Bengal GST Amendment Act 2021 that all GST holders need to mandatorily enrol proprietor name and Trade name for Professional tax. First year enrolment fees for proprietor name is 1500 monthly and for Trade name it is 2000 monthly. Failing to do both enrolment by 30th April will result in GST Cancellation. Can anyone clarify on this.

It needs to be checked locally with someone practicing in west bengal. At least in Maharashtra, there is no such rule.
