Hi- 1> Can you please tell me last date of filing 15CB/CA offline. Can we still use offline mode. 2> Can you please tell those offline certificates - Should we again file those online ? From when we can file backdated 15CA/CB. Thanks

Sonce the online functionality has started now, it is advisable to file the forms through the online mode only. Some banks are still accepting the forms in offline mode.
The functionality to upload the manually submitted forms on the online portal has not yet started. Currently, the portal only accepts a future date to be the proposed date of remittance.

no need to file online again
- On the homepage of the portal it is clearly mentioned that online mode of submission of Form 15CA and 15CB has been enabled but it is not functioning as on date. As on date you have to go with offline mode by uploading xml/json file on the portal. Very soon online submission will start.
- No need to file again. As the new portal came into existence from 07.06.2021 and Form 15CB/CA were required to be filed physically till 15.08.2021. Sooner a facility will be launched to upload all physically filed Forms 15CB/CA.
Now online filing of 15CA and 15CB are enabled. No offline filing now.
The last date for the offline certificates was over by 15th August 2021 I don't think that the date was extended. You don't have to do online filing after the bank processed your offline certificates.
I think the last relaxation provided by income tax department for manual or offline filing of form 15CB was till 15.08.21.

Now you can only file 15CB on e-filing Portal.
