Sir i am selling my property for 80Lakh.the buyer wants to do the registry for 49.5 L and want to send rest of the amt. through RTGS/NEFT in my a/c.so can i accept this amt in my a/c.please guide as buyer don't want to do registery above 49.5 L.And after that how can i save the tax from this.

What is DLC or circle rate of that property?

 

What will you show that amount in your account or how will you explain that amount?

Hi

This wouldn't be appropriate legally. The property must be registered at the actual sales consideration.

- Sale consideration for the purpose of calculation of capital gain would be Rs. 80 lacs. Sale consideration should not be less than the stamp duty value. It will also attract penalty.
