Hi,

Your income will fall under income from business or profession.

You need to file ITR 4.

You can also claim expenses incurred to earn the income.

Yes, You can file ITR 4 for showing your income and for the proof of income your bank statement and TDS certificate (if issued) in future to tax department if required.

Hello Sir,

You can file either ITR -1, 2 or 4. In your case you mentioned retailing - do you have the purchase sale bills ? If yes then you can file ITR - 4 or else prefer 1 or 2.

Income can be shown as earned in Cash so should not be a problem with IT Department as you yourself are declaring it.

Trust this clarifies your query.

Feel free to call back/ get back in case of further clarifications.

Thanking You.

Sir,

If the Source of income is Commission Income and Tution Income You can declare the same under the head "Income from Other Sources" and can use ITR -2 for filing your tax returns.

In case if you derive income from retail business and if you wish to show more than 8% of your gross receipts as your income from retail business than you can file your return in ITR 4S.

in ITR 4S you can also declare income from other sources.

Dear sir,

In your case ITR-4S is preferable if you want to show 8% or more income of gross receipts .

In ITR 4S you can also declare income from other sources.

You can file ITR-2 also if source of income is from other source (Not from Business or profession).
