• What taxes are applicable for a food ordering mobile application

Hello,

I am launching a food order mobile application in Bangalore. People will use this app to order food from various near by restaurant. As a service provider we will charge some commission from restaurant which will generate some revenue for us.

What are the various tax liabilities applicable for a company/firm who is running there business through mobile although they are not manufacturing any thing.

Also to launch this same application in pune what are the typical govt rules we have to consider and follow to run the operation in another city where we are not registered.

This is a service and if it is considered as software service then you are liable to pay service tax and if the commission payment exceeds the threshold limits it will be subjected to income tax deducted at source.
