You need to file the same manually by submitting to the Income Tax Office. You need to attach any notice you received for the same.
ITR for assessment year 2013-14
Hello Sir, The income tax return for assessment year 2013-14 was pending from my end. I have already paid the due amount for which I have received the challan. 1) I am not able to file the same online. 2) Is there any offline procedure to do so? Please guide. Thank you.

Thank you so much Sir for such prompt reply. I have received a compliance notice which I shall be attaching. 1)Do I need to meet any officer specifically? 2)Is it advisable to file after 7th September (it being a last date for ay 2015-16) ? (One of agents I have said so..according to him there will be rush for current year) 3) Is it some big issue? ( am tensed psychologically) Thank you so much Sir !

No need of meeting any officer. You can file it now also no problem.

Thank you once again Sir! Me being a senior citizen cannot go alone to the income tax office. 1) Can my daughter (at Bangalore ) file the returns manually ? (I will get the challan copy and the notice scanned and send her) 2) The agent is adamant for date after 7th Sept. 3) Will there be any penalty? Please guide.

Yes u can send ur daughter, don't entertain agents. U can file after 7 th also. Now also u can file there will not be much rush at department . No penalty now

penalty is the discretion of Income tax Officer and it will be invoked based on policy of the department at appropriate time.
