• Query about income tax as a Affiliate marketer.

Lets say, im working with Clickbank (Affiliate Marketing/ Product sales).
and making around 10L per month. and i use wire transfer to get my payments from clickbank.
We are 4 members in family.
I keep changing my payment details every alternate month to receive payments.
Lets say : i have got 25L payments in my account this year.
Same with my mother, father, sibling.
Each receiving 25L payments this year.
Now can i pay tax for each of my family member individually.
lets say tax for 25L is 5,92,250.00/-
So the tax im going to pay for all my family members would be equal to 23,69,000. So that i can save 6L.
is this legal?
or do the single person who earn should pay the total tax amount for 1cr for 29,09,750.00/-

Dear Sir,

No, it not legally correct. You will have to pay tax on entire 1 crore.

Please feel free to call/revert in case you want to discuss it further.

Hiii

if you can justify income in the hands of your family members than no problem otherwise department can club all income in your hand.

Thus be careful

instead of doing above practice you can show all receipts in your hand ,appoint a CA and Audit your accounts.

Dear Sir,

First of all it can bot be justified that services are provided to citibank by you, your father, mother, siblings etc. as it may required technical qualification which can not be justified in all cases. Rather it is advisable to show return in your name only and show relevant expenditures in different member of your family to reduce tax liability to ensure legal compliance.

Hello Sir,

How is the payment being made ?

Are you raising any invoices ?

If Yes, in whose name is the invoice raised ?

If the invoices are raised in your own name, then the tax has to be paid by you only.

Trust this clarifies your query.

Feel free to call / get back in case of further clarifications.

Thanking You.
