• Job work trading

Hi,Freinds, please let me know THE POSSIBILITIES for the following under GST RULES ,
A person who is purely a trader, under present scenario receives goods on behalf of his customer, and does not have any plant and machinery , sends goods for job work to be carried out by some one else ,
1.he gets a job work invoice as per applicable job rates from jobber on himself
2. Now he wants to issue job work invoice to his customer ,( from whom he received the goods) by keeping certain Job Work Rate Difference, again as per applicable GST Rates, and returns the finished goods after job work .

Hello,

In my opinion, it is not a job work but a commission or a professional fee that you are earning out of this assignment. It will be very difficult to prove that you had undertaken a job work in case a scrutiny comes up at a future point of time.

Trust this clarifies your query.

Feel free to call / get back in case of further clarifications.

Thanking You.
