Hi,
If your doing inter state supply of srrvices , you have to take GST registration and charges GST @ 18%.
my annual income is below 10 lakhs as an astrolger/vastu consultant. Out of this 30% income is from another states . As my Income is less than 20 lakhs exemption limit as per GST rules. do i come under 18% service tax slab under GST ?
On 31 march 2017, physical stock of Rs 80,000/- is lying with me which includes goodluck & healing products (which are copyright registered in my name) & book written by me (The Practical Remedies of Vastu Shastra & Feng Shui).Out of this maximum stock is of books (tax free) which is : Rs 65,000/-. Rest all is goodluck Ganesha poster and plastic pyramids. But stock in ledger is Rs 7,500/-. That is, physical stock is more than stock in ledger. How to handle this situation ?
Hi,
If your doing inter state supply of srrvices , you have to take GST registration and charges GST @ 18%.
I am author of book (hsn 49011010) which is printed by printing press in punjab state. I sell it personally. I am also a trademark copyright owner of SYRAMID (Plastic Pyramids Hsn: 39261019) which are manufactured by industry in my city Patiala. Both the products I sell as B2C. Am I a Manufacturer or trader ?
If only Rs 5,000/annum sale of tax free books is through e-commerce, 10% sale of plastic pyramids is interstate, can I opt under composition scheme? Mt total products sale per annum is below 5 lakhs in any year
Hello,
Yes, you will have to be registered under GST if you are making interstate sales.
You can show only the stocks that you have in your books.
You are a trader.
You cannot register under Composition Scheme since you provide Service and people providing services cannot be registered under Composition Scheme.
Trust this clarifies your query.
Feel free to call / get back in case of further clarifications.
Thanking You.

Hi,
1. You will have to register under GST if you have inter-state transactions.
2. Regarding your question on stock, you can show only the stock as per your books of accounts of Rs. 7,500 and not Rs. 80,000.
3. You are a trader, and not a manufacturer.
4. A service provider cannot register for composition scheme.
