My annual increment and pay fixation
Good afternoon, myself sivaji saha, i am a state civil service officer of tripura. i joined as a tcs officer on 26.11.2007. after serving till 27th jan 2009, i proceeded to extraordinay leave other than medical ground to enroll for coaching classes for ias at delhi. however i acme backa nd joined servide on 10.6.2010. since then i think the pay, that is time to time incremenst given to me by the finance deptt of our govt. may be faulty. i am not sure if i drew more or less but once they made a correction and took some recovery. i am giving a detail. if required i can send it in excell sheet on e mail. pls point out if any mistake if there and if any correction is required. date basic pay granted by fiance deptt remarks 26.11.2007 7800 joined service as tcs officer 1.11.2008 8075 1.1.2009 17720 (14020 + 3700) new rop due to 6th pay review 27.1.2009 0 extraordinary leave other than medical ground without pay starts. 1.7.2009 0 eol continues…. 10.6.2010 17720 (14020 + 3700) joined back service from eol on this date. 1.7.2010 no increment given 1.7.2011 no increment given 1.7.2012 18810 ( 15110+3700) 1.12.2012 20410 (16710+3700) 1.7.2013 21030 (17330+3700) 1.7.2014 21660 (17960+3700) correction done by finance deptt on the previous increments given to me and slip issued by them on 9.7.15 as given below. 1.12.2012 due = 19,810 (16110+3700) , drawn= 20,410 (16710+3700) 1.7.2013 due= 20,410 (16710+3700) , drawn= 21,030 ( 17330+3700) 1.7.2014 due= 21030 (17330+3700), drawn= 21660 (17960+2700) 1.4.2015 24,350 (18950+5400) 1.7.2015 25,080 (19680+5400) i cleared deptt exam of september 2015. 1.10.2015 25,840 (20,440 + 5400) incrment for clearing deptt exam. 1.7.2016 26620 ( 21220+5400) 2007 tcs batch given pay fixation as per pre revised rop 1.10.2015 due= 28770 (22170+6600), drawn= 25,840 (20,440 + 5400) slip issued on 15.9.2016 as 2007 batch was given the benefit of fixation as per pre revised rop. 1.7.2016 due= 29640 (23040+6600), drawn= 26,620 ( 21220+5400)

Sorry but I did not understand your query as to what is expected from us.
Prima facie, there seems to be no unusual issues in your pay fixation. However, the correctness of the pay fixation needs to be verified with your service rules and pay scale applicable to your cadre. From the correction done by your finance department, it appears that there was correction of the basic pay by reducing it from Rs 20,410/- to Rs. 19,810/- on 1/12/2012, from Rs. 21,030/- to Rs 20,410/- on 1/7/2013 and from Rs. 21,660/- to Rs 21,030/- retrospectively and thereafter there was increase in the pay compared to what was actually drawn by you. It could be due to application of current rates while fixing pay for the past retrospectively. This is what I guess from the information provided by you.
