Till the time you dont surrender GST no. You have to collect and deposit GST and follow other rules

Have you registered under GST?

If yes, then you have to follow all rules, charge GST, pay GST and file returns. Apply for cancellation of GSTN if you do not wish to follow the same.

If no, no burden.

Hi,

If you are already registered under GST, then you need to keep on charging GST until you surrender your GSTN.

However, if you are not registered under GST, then you can issue invoice without charging GST.

Please feel free to call/ revert in case you need more clarity.

Thanks and regards

as a registered person you have to charge GST and pay to Govt. , thus stop working in your name if you dont want to charge and pay GST, currently surrender option not available on GST portal thus please wait for the same.

Voluntary cancellation of GSTN is only possible after completion of 1 year of registration. You have to duly charge and pay GST and file returns like a regular taxpayer till cancellation.

No, it's different.
