• GST - Letter of Undertaking Requirement for Export of Service

What are the Letter of Undertaking Requirements for Export of Service (zero rated) for Business with revenue of less than 1 Crore. I believe there was some recent update from Government regarding making LUT easier for businesses with less than 1 cr (or 2 cr) turnover.

I am looking to apply for LUT for my business and have recently received GST certificate.

Hi

You can opt for LUT. As of now, it is not available online. The form for LUT is to be deposited with the jurisdictional officer. If he accepts the LUT, you can export without payment of GST.

Hello,

Yes, you are very well on target.

Earlier only exporters having export revenue more than 1Cr could apply for an LUT or else they would have to apply for a Bond but now they have relaxed this limit and any exporter can apply for a LUT without any turnover limit.

Trust this clarifies your query.

Feel free to call / get back in case of further clarifications.

Thanking You.
