Hi,

In case you know your pan number, you don't need to apply for new PAN.

You will have to apply for duplicate PAN card with same PAN number.

You can apply online on the website if tin-nsdl.

Hi,

Hope you doing well!

You can re apply for duplicate pan card in tin-nsdl website .You can re print your pan card by paying nominal fees .I am not sure about exact amount of fees. But in case you have lost your pan card without any xerox copies and you don't remember your pan do the following

1.Note down name ,fathers name and Date of birth

2.Note down address which was given will applying pan in case you remember

3.Have an identity proof which is very important

Now having all these go to income tax department office nearest to you..Most of IT offices will have ASK section..I.e Aayakar seva kendra.Just provide all these details and ask them for PAN .They will definitely provide you. They will ask for identity proof in case you are making enquiry for a third person. This is due to reason that income tax department will not simply reveal PAN when you go and ask them .

Once you have got PAN go and apply for duplicate pan. In case you need to know exact name as per IT database just search “Know you AO” in google and open link which leads you to efiling website .just type PAN and captcha code and you will get exact name

Wait for two to three weeks and get a duplicate copy of PAN!!!

Once you have your PAN number, you can apply for a duplicate copy of PAN Card.

You can either submit the application online or you can visit nearest PAN center and submit the application in paper form along with supporting documents.

Online application has proven to be very quick. If you have Aadhaar or digital signature, you can finish the application process completely online.

You can visit NSDL website for online application. All you have to do is create you login, upload soft copy of your:

address proof

ID proof

Date of birth proof

Digital photo

signature

If you store soft copy of documents on Digilocker then you can upload directly from Digilocker as well.

Once the documents are uploaded, all you have to do is enter your Aadhaar number and verify the same using OTP. Upon verification, your application will be e-signed. Now you can make online payment and the application will be submitted to NSDL. You will receive an Acknowledgement. There is no further requirement to submit any physical copy.

Since online application makes your documents available to NSDL instantly, It expedites your PAN application and as a result you can receive your PAN in a jiffy.

Hi

You don't need to issue a new PAN card. Apply for issue of a duplicate PAN card.

GSTN is not a mandatory field for issue of duplicate PAN. Please check the correct form on TIN-NSDL website.

Please reapply for PAN card through nsdl website. I think form 49A is for reapplication of PAN card. If you have copy of ITR or download it from income tax efiling website and apply it online. You can reapply it through Aadhaar kyc online. There is no column of GSTIN in PAN reapplication. You are on wrong form if it asks for mandatory GSTIN.

I would suggest you to download your copy of PAN from NSDL (its not PAN but will contain PAN & DOB) and attached in your GSTIN application hope it will work.

Else visit to near by NSDL centre and apply over there for change/correction application and ask them that I have to change either photo or sign and use same photo and sign, in that process you will have to pay nominal fee and you will have fresh copy of your old pan

Hope it will be helpful
